Occupational Therapist School Setting - Salem, OR

An opportunity is available for an in-person Occupational Therapist to serve students three days per week for the upcoming  school year. This contract-based position focuses on supporting a diverse student population with varying needs in an educational setting near Salem, OR.

Your experience and passion for working with children in schools will allow you to make a positive difference while collaborating with a dedicated team. The ideal candidate is comfortable adapting to changing priorities and can address a variety of student abilities within the classroom environment.

• Active OT license in Oregon
• Previous experience as an OT in K-12 schools
• Demonstrated ability to support students with a wide range of needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across grade levels, with a focus on enhancing functional skills for school success
• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal student outcomes
• Maintain thorough and organized documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student progress
