Job Title: Transportation Load Operator– Snow Removal (Winter Season/On-Call)

Locations: Multiple sites across Virginia

Employment Type: On-Call Seasonal 1099 Contract

Shifts: 8 AM to 8 PM and 8 PM to 8 AM

Gov First is seeking multiple Transportation Load Operators (Non
-CDL Drivers)for the winter season for various Virginia locations.

Open Locations in these below districtsfor these residencies:

• Culpeper, VA (Charlottesville,Louisa, Warrenton)
• Fredericksburg, VA (Fredericksburg,Northern Neck, Saluda)
• Hampton Roads, VA (Accomac,Franklin, Williamsburg)
• Northern VA (Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, Arlington / Interstate)
• Salem, VA (Bedford, Christiansburg,Martinsville, Salem)

Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate loaders and other assigned equipment to remove snow from roads, parking lots, and sidewalks.
• Load and haul snow as needed.
• Perform basic pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Work on an as-needed, on-call basis during and after snow events (including daytime, nighttime, weekends, and holidays).
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain regular communication with supervisors.

Skills Required:

• Experience operating heavy equipment (loader, skid steer, tractor, or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability and flexibility to respond on short notice during winter storms.
• Ability to work in cold and extreme weather.

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
