School Bus Driver
PURPOSE
To improve student achievement by transporting students to and from school and school-related activities. Substitute drivers work when needed for route or activity trip coverage on an unscheduled basis. Successful work as a substitute driver will position the employee to apply for regular bus driver positions as they become available.

Hours:
Most routes report around 6:00 and return around 9:30 AM, then report around 1:30 PM and return around 5:00 PM. Days worked and number of hours per day may vary depending on coverage assignment.

Training Wage: $23.15 per hour
Substitute Driving Wage: $23.15 per hour
No experience required; paid training will be provided. Position requires an acceptable driving record and successful passage of a DOT physical exam and both pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing. If you hold an out of state driver's license or have held a driver's license from another state within the last 3 years, please obtain a court-certified copy of your driving record from the DMV in which your license was issued.
Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements to apply for and must pass testing requirements for an Oregon Commercial Learner Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver License (CDL). Assistance completing the application and uploading documents is provided if needed. Please call or visit our Employee Center at 2450 Lancaster Dr NE between the hours of 7:45 AM and 4:30 PM.
