Delivery Helper
Position Summary:
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare, and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.
- Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
- Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.
- Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity.
- Embody servant leadership, putting the needs of others first and valuing diverse perspectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; lead, execute or delegate as needed.

- Remain standing 90% of the time.
- Continuously move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job site.
- Position self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs while unloading and loading flatbed.
- Communicate accurately with management and coworkers in these situations.
- Work outside while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress based on customer deadlines.
- Multitask effectively.
- Receive information and directions accurately.
- Communicate solutions quickly if problems occur.
- Demonstrate high degree of sound judgement.
