- Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans that outline key tasks, milestones, timelines, and deliverables to keep everyone aligned. - Risk Management:
Identify potential bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them. - Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Lead progress meetings and provide clear status updates to executives, clients, and team members. - Quality Control:
Monitor progress and ensure deliverables meet high organizational standards and client expectations. - Engineering Review:
Review engineering drawings and prints for quality and constructability. - Pole Attachment Application Submission and Tracking:
Submit and track applications through lifecycle. - Bridge the Gap:
Identify engineering issues early and create collaborative feedback between engineering and construction teams. - Project Logistics:
Create desktop takeoff sheets and submit purchase order requests to keep field teams equipped. - Executive Visibility:
Help design, create, and support weekly slide decks for executive reviews.
- Leadership &
Collaboration:
Motivate teams, build consensus, and delegate tasks. - Top‑Notch Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Problem‑Solving Prowess:
Critical thinking and quick decision‑making in shifting project needs. - Industry Foundations:
Basic understanding of aerial and underground construction methods. - Permitting & Utility
Experience:
Submit pole attachment applications and navigate municipal permits. - Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant experience. - Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Leadership Track Record:
Prior supervisory or managerial experience. - Legal Authorization:
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States; must pass pre‑employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check.
- 3–5 years of dedicated OSP aerial engineering and construction experience.
- Specific regional work experience in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana.
- Direct experience with Telecom Fiber company systems and standards.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet to track and automate workflows.
