Shop Purchaser

The Shop Purchaser is responsible for ordering parts and maintaining records for 500+ pieces of equipment and vehicles.

• Order all parts from vendors
• Reconcile orders and bills from Vendors
• Assist putting away materials in the shop
• Keep records of all repairs
• Will supervise the shop runner position
• Track incoming and outgoing repairs
• Track consumables – Oil, Grease, Rags, Etc
• Create required Purchase Orders and send them for approval
• Update databases with necessary information

• Knowledge of Shop terminology helpful
• Ability to multi-task

• Must be able to effectively communicate orally or in written form with management, internal and external customers. Advanced mathematical skills required.
• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practice problems or resolve issues.
