Roanoke College is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-service oriented individual to join the Business Office team.

• providing courteous, professional service to students, parents, faculty and staff by phone and front counter coverage.
• Resolves specific student and parent questions while maintaining a friendly student based front office.
• Responsible for the college’s cash receipts operation and daily management of student receivables in conjunction with billing staff.
• The successful candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented team player, who demonstrates ability in managing multiple tasks with accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of training and/or related work experience.
• Ability to operate well in open office environment, flexible to changing needs of the day.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Experience with accounts receivable and cash receipts posting.
• Any experience with Ellucian Colleague, Transact (formerly Blackboard), Remote Deposit, and/or online ecommerce solutions a plus.
