Starting Compensation Range: $21.56 - $27.10 per hour
ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Assistant position is responsible for performing administrative duties associated with projects and general office tasks, including but not limited to printing, copying, scanning, processing invoices, utilizing Docusign, etc. The Assistant also performs seasonal pricing updates in the ERP, downloading and filtering reports, and communicating with service on all new inventory arrivals.
Requirements- Self-starter able to work with limited supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to communicate and network with Carter Machinery personnel throughout the company
- Must be proficient with data entry skills and Microsoft Excel
- Must be a to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be willing to work shifts needed, including days, nights, and/or weekends to meet customer demands

- Previous experience in an administrative role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sales support experience, a plus.
- Required to sit and talk or hear
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus

Actual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. In addition to base pay, the compensation package may include participation in performance-based incentive programs (e.g., discretionary or non-discretionary plans), as well as overtime eligibility depending on the role.
