Department of Revenue is recruiting for an Operations Administration Specialist (Administrative Specialist
1) position.
We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented individual to join our Information Technology Services Division in the Processing Center Operations unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in-state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely. In order to be considered for Department of Revenue recruitments, you must reside within the state of Oregon.

What You Will Be Doing- Work in our reconciliation software to research, reconcile, correct, adjust records, and facilitate resolution of any processing errors.
- Work bank corrections, conduct payment record search, and adjust payments in our systems.
- Assist the OA team in testing the season-up configurations each year to ensure outputs conform with system requirements.
- Develop system user manuals or procedures.
- Coordinate communication both in and out of the section regarding system procedures and workflows related to the processing center systems.
- Monitor incoming communication to the unit and facilitate that communication.
- Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data.
- An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Teamwork:
Supports a group of Operations and Policy analysts needs to work well as a team spanning a variety of functions. - Attention to detail:
Is responsible for financial reconciliation of check payments via Quick Modules. Attention to detail and tracking is vital. - Good communication skills (written and oral):
Supports a group of Operations and Policy analysts and works with Oregon Treasury on bank corrections. Needs to be clear and concise with communication.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%.
