Automotive Quick Lube Technician

Berglund Ford in Salem, VA is looking for motivated and reliable Quick Lube Technicians / Automotive Lube Technicians to join our growing service team. This is an entry-level automotive service position with room for advancement through Ford Factory Training and hands-on experience. Whether you have prior experience in the quick lube industry or are looking to start your career in the automotive field, we will provide the training and support you need to succeed.

As a Quick Lube Technician
, your primary responsibility is to safely provide fast, friendly, and professional automotive service for our customers.

• Performing oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary
• Checking and adjusting tire pressure
• Completing multi-point vehicle inspections and documenting results
• Installing new oil drain plugs and oil filters
• Cleaning and lubricating fittings as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional service environment
• Providing excellent customer service and communicating clearly with teammates and customers

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to complete computer-based and hands-on training
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

• Full-time, in-person position
• Day shifts, Monday–Friday
• Weekend availability may be required
• No late nights
