Summary
Responsible for overseeing and managing complex construction projects through planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

• Collaborate with hospital leadership, architects, and engineering teams to develop project plans and designs that align with the hospital’s strategic goals.
• Lead and oversee a multidisciplinary project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement processes, and contract negotiations with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects and develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including hospital administrators, department heads, and staff, to provide regular project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
• Evaluate change requests and modifications to project plans, specifications, or scope.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management required or Bachelor’s Degree Related Field of Study required

Construction Management Experience 5-7 years required and Project Management 1-2 years required

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to solve problems and make timely, effective decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build productive relationships.
• Familiarity with healthcare facility requirements and regulations, such as infection control and patient safety.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and environmental considerations.
