Role Overview
The Beverage & Chemical Equipment Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the management, procurement, installation, maintenance, and performance of beverage and chemical equipment across the assigned area. This role serves as the primary point of contact for sales teams, vendors, and customers regarding equipment needs, service requests, inventory management, and equipment performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage beverage and chemical equipment programs and services throughout the assigned area.
- Receive and process beverage equipment requests from authorized sales leadership.
- Review existing equipment inventory within the area and region to identify opportunities for equipment reuse or intercompany transfers.
- Coordinate and obtain finance approval for equipment purchases.
- Place equipment orders with approved vendors and monitor delivery timelines.
- Partner with vendors to coordinate equipment placements, installations, service, and removals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers regarding beverage and chemical equipment needs.
- Track equipment performance and sales metrics to ensure proper utilization and return on investment.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Facilitate the creation, execution, and maintenance of customer contracts and service agreements.
- Respond promptly to beverage equipment and service-related requests within the marketplace.
- Provide sellers with ongoing updates regarding equipment orders, placements, and installation status.
- Act as a liaison between external service providers, manufacturing companies, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with corporate leadership, category management teams, vendors, and customers.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
- Identify opportunities for beverage and chemical category growth and evaluate the impact of equipment investments and changes.
- Collaborate with Rosemont and other business partners to identify process improvements and equipment optimization opportunities.
- Monitor and manage beverage and chemical equipment inventory in the field through collaboration with vendors, local markets, and Rosemont teams.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of equipment coordination, equipment management, project management, operations, customer service, or related experience preferred. Experience working with vendors, installations, inventory management, or service programs is highly desirable.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and service providers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to analyze equipment performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
