Description

The Video Editor creates strategy and execution for projects across a spectrum of diverse partners and works directly with both clients and their support staff to ensure key design opportunities are pitched and executed with the optimal creative approach.

This role requires working hand-in-hand with client partners to define project strategies, establish understanding around design, develop design principles, and direct production team members in executing cohesive, appealing, and effective design.

We are looking for someone who has the ability and the desire to learn. If there is something you don't know, we are happy to help train you, but we also need you to ask questions and have the ability to use resources and figure things out.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the creative design vision from concept to completion
  • Translate client objectives and audience needs into clear creative strategies
  • Produce comprehensive creative briefs to help guide design execution and obtain explicit approval from key stakeholders at key project stages
  • Ensure UX specifications, marketing/communication messaging, accessibility requirements, and brand standards meet or exceed expectations in design deliverables
  • Work with client partners to identify and assign the right creative staff to projects
  • Support and direct design subcontractors/staff, as necessary
  • Active role in leading design vision within sales opportunities
  • Execute web strategy on You Tube, Linked In, FB, etc
Qualifications
  • Experience in digital design, Video, You Tube, Linked In, FB, and other Social Media
  • Experience with content management systems and marketing platforms is helpful
  • Content strategy, copywriting, and editing skills
  • Ability to quickly generate key design ideas
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, both with clients and technology/design
  • Experience working within a corporate environment (e.g., addressing feedback from complex client partners, capturing and working with detailed design requirements, etc.)
Compensation

$18 - $25 hourly
