Job Goal

The Physical Education Teacher is to treat each child with love recognizing that each and every one is a child of God. Because we are taught that the human body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, we are commissioned to take care of the temples that God has created. In physical education we can do this by teaching students about healthy living and inspire them to enjoy being active.

The physical education teacher should organize fun, attention-grabbing activities that help to develop students gross motor skills, such as games and competitions, to keep students active during class. Preschool is an opportunity to develop skills that will be used not only in elementary school, but throughout the life of each student. The physical education teacher will cultivate good social and emotional development through teaching good sportsmanship.
