Axis Bank is looking for a Branch Relationship Officer to join its branch banking team at multiple locations in India.

Axis Bank, a leading provider of a wide array of financial services, is looking to hire Branch Relationship Officers.

As part of the branch banking team, Branch Relationship Officers (BROs) are responsible for providing financial solutions to customers, offering bank products, and adding new customers through referral generation activities and customer visits.

They must use communication skills to add new customers and cross‑sell bank products, engage with existing customers, process customer transactions and service requests within a defined turnaround time, and may be posted as tellers for cash transactions.

They introduce customers to alternate channels such as Internet Banking, mobile banking, and Whats App banking where possible.

• Offering solutions and cross‑selling bank’s retail banking and third‑party products as per assigned budgets.
• Achieve business budgets as assigned on a monthly basis.
• Generating referrals and leads of new customers for the sale of the bank’s products.
• Promoting the bank’s products by taking part in marketing activities and customer visits outside the branch.
• Contact existing customers for more deposits and cross‑selling of bank’s products.
• Timely and accurate processing of customer transactions and requests.
• Handle customer queries and provide correct solutions to ensure no customer complaints.
• Follow all compliance guidelines (regulatory and legislative).
• Ensure all audit requirements of the bank are met to achieve optimum audit rating.
• Complete all mandatory certifications required for the role (EUIN, SP Certification, etc.).
• Complete all learning activities/training conducted by the bank.
• Daily entry of interaction with customers in the bank’s CRM system.
• Participate and follow all initiatives/campaigns/drives undertaken by the bank.

• Completed Graduation/ Post‑Graduation from a recognized institute.

• Knowledge of banking regulations and norms.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of banking products and services.
• Good communication (both verbal and written) skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good networking and relationship‑building skills.
