The Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs has one (1) full-time opportunity available for a Program Analyst 3 (Veterans Suicide Prevention Coordinator) located at ODVA Headquarters in Salem, Oregon.

What you will do! As ODVA’s Veteran Suicide Prevention Coordinator, you will lead ODVA’s statewide efforts to prevent suicide among service members, veterans, and their families using a trauma-informed, data-driven, and equity-centered approach. The role advances ODVA initiatives by coordinating with federal, state, Tribal, county and local community partners to implement evidence-based strategies across the full spectrum of suicide prevention and postvention.

• Build and strengthen partnerships with federal, state, and Tribal governments, non-profits, and other community organizations focused on reducing stigma, and improving access to suicide prevention resources.
• Coordinate statewide outreach, education, and behavioral health and suicide prevention messaging and campaign.
• Represent ODVA on national and state veteran suicide prevention committees.
