We are currently offering a sign‑on bonus of up to $15,000.

This position provides support to all areas of the operating room, with a specific focus on surgical specialties assigned to each holder of the role. The OR Scrub Tech Team Lead is expected to adhere to all Lewis‑Gale Medical Center policies and procedures, value statements and commitment to excellence standards.

• Assist surgeons and anesthesia staff in the set‑up and management of the operating room.
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and available for procedures.
• Lead the scrub tech team, providing training and supervision as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or issues to leadership.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Registered Surgical Technologist.
• Associate Degree in a related field.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
• At least 3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
