Below is a summary of your key responsibilities and qualifications:

• Prepares patients and collects relevant information for completion of procedures.
• Performs all sonographic exams following defined protocols.
• Observes patients’ conditions and notifies physician or supervisor of unusual occurrences. Compiles appropriate records to expedite results.
• Analyzes the quality of images and processes as required.
• Understands and operates electronic information systems.

Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean, organized working environment.

• Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of sonography and meet educational requirements of ARDMS.
• Takes call after regular hours.

Registered or registry‑eligible by RDMS or ARRT.

• Experience: Preferred: 2‑3 years experience as a RT or sonographer. Preferred: 2 or more years of experience in a hospital ultrasound department.
• Education: Required: ARDMS eligible. Preferred: BLS certification.
