Job Summary

Under the supervision and direction of the surgeon and RN, the position provides support to all areas of the operating room department. The Scrub Tech III is expected to adhere to applicable Lewis‑Gale Medical Center policies and procedures and to Lewis‑Gale Medical Center value statements and commitment to excellence standards.

• Support all operating room activities under supervision of surgeon and RN.

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program (Required).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (Required).
• Certified Surgical Technician – VA (Required).
