Must be a RPSGT or RRT with sleep management experience to qualify for this position and have VA licensure.
Pay$35 to $45 an hour plus benefits.

Position OverviewWe are urgently seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory (RRT) with sleep experience for a full-time position at our sleep lab. This role involves providing sleep services and to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

- Testing and Data Collection:
Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data. - Equipment Preparation:
Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols. - Monitoring and Recording:
Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes). - Data Analysis:
Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review. - Compliance:
Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
- Education:
High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required. - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Experience:
Prior experience as an RPSGT or RRT in a sleep lab setting. - Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment.
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required; must meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation).
