Travel Surgical Tech​/ORT - CVORT

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital CVOR unit position requiring CVOR experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• CVOR experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• State licensure required if applicable (VA, CO)
• Scrubbing experience preferred

• Hospital-based CVOR unit with 2 OR suites
• Staffed by a team of 3 RNs and 3 CSTs, all on day shift
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required
• Floating to other OR areas required
  
  Assist with cardiovascular procedures including CABG, thoracotomy, endovascular AAA repair, valve replacement, and pacemaker placement
• Best suited for flexible, knowledgeable, self-starter candidates
• Light blue scrubs provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
