Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support for production and non-production systems
- Troubleshoot complex application and system issues in Unix/Linux environments
- Develop, maintain, and enhance shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
- Support batch processing and job execution in enterprise environments
- Analyze logs, diagnose issues, and implement permanent fixes
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and improve system stability
- Ensure adherence to operational processes and documentation standards
- Mentor junior support team members when acting in a lead capacity
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
- Extensive expertise in shell scripting using ksh and bash
- Working knowledge of Cobol and legacy application environments
- Experience with SSL concepts and secure communications
- Proficiency with AWK, Sed, and scripting utilities
- Working knowledge of Python and Perl
- Strong Linux system administration skills
