The OpportunityIT Development Manager – Corporate IT, based in Canton, MA and Salem, VA (hybrid schedule). The role supports company applications, technologies, and infrastructure, serving as a business and technical liaison between internal and external customers. The manager oversees cross‑functional planning, project teams, and the design and implementation of new or revised systems and programs. Responsibilities include direct report management, coaching, and performance oversight.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight to direct reports by establishing goals, coaching, and supporting development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior and operating level business leaders, customers, and vendors.
- Act as a thought partner, recommending improvements to business processes by leveraging or defining new strategic IT capabilities.
- Serve as the point of contact for escalated issues and facilitate prioritization.
- Keep abreast of new technology developments and maintain technology standards and guidelines.
- Manage projects and life cycles, securing commitments and monitoring progress to meet milestones and objectives.
- Communicate project progress to senior IT and business leadership.
- Participate in IT governance, planning, and initiative review committees and meetings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7 to 10 years of IT and business/industry experience.
- 3+ years of management, supervisory, or team leader experience.
- Understanding of IT applications and technologies, including cloud architecture, SOA, Dev Ops, Git Hub, and containerization.

The salary range for this position is $134,000 – $178,000, with higher ranges for certain locations ($157,000 – $183,000 for San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; Massachusetts; and New York City metro areas). Compensation also includes bonus potential.
