Position

Driver – Terra Bella Salem (Tuesdays & Thursdays) – transport residents to and from appointments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities while delivering quality service.
  • Assist disabled passengers in and out of the vehicle.
  • Secure wheelchairs with restraining devices to stabilize during trip.
  • Operate radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report service disruptions.
  • Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
  • Clean and service vehicle, including fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewal processes.
  • Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record per Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in senior living.
  • Knowledgeable of all safety precautions and compliant with safety measures.
  • Competent in organization, time‑management, and handling multiple priorities.
