The individual shall drive the project governance and strategy and will be responsible for managing, executing, and delivering water services projects in India, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines, focusing on achieving financial targets, managing customer expectations, and coordinating with internal functions and top management of customer authorities.

Project Manager is the representative of the project towards Suez & Customer Organisation.

Plans & directs the end-to-end execution of the designated project which includes initiation, planning, estimation, execution, monitoring, project management and control of assigned projects.

Lead the project for timely completion, protecting margin with all efforts to maximise GM by materializing the opportunities and mitigating Risks.

Manages the project progress and its KPIs, and reports to the senior management, with transparency during the business/critical project reviews.

Ensures compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards:
Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Safety, Quality, Project Management guidelines.

Takes ownership of quality, safety, cost, delivery, performance (QSCDP) and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives.

Ensures company’s legal and contractual rights are protected during execution of the project.

Builds cross-functional collaboration through proactive internal & external relationships, such as inter department coordination with Engg, Materials, Legal, Finance, Commercial, HR and other corporate teams which are based in Gurgaon.

Identifies risk proactively and prioritizes to mitigate them. Align efforts and guiding project & buying team to maximise savings. Proposing additional opportunities / change order / claims to the customer and taking it forward for successful closure in Suez’s favour.

Ensures robust Contract Management in projects with respect to all stakeholders including Customer, vendors and contractors.

Optimizes project financial performance as work package owner of project management.

Leads project governance, including PMP elaboration and adherence to the Suez group policy and standards laid down for project execution.

Manages customer and external stakeholders' relationships including regulatory bodies, local administration etc.

Demonstrates business and technical proficiency; provides direction, facilitating decisions and managing & resolving escalated Customer complaints and Project risks and issues.

Creates an environment of accountability for performance and results.

Sets expectations, supports development and rewards contributions accordingly.

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil ).

Experience or understanding of project management in the water services Industry.

Ability to represent the company towards customers, partners, government officials and other stakeholders

Knowledge of Project Management processes and best practices.

Drive to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside SUEZ.

Familiarity with multi-cultural and multi-national business environments.
