The Sorting & Equipment Operator supports the efficient and profitable operation of the E-Commerce department by ensuring the timely movement, accurate sorting, and proper handling of donated books and media. This role contributes to production flow, operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and adherence to Goodwill's safety and stewardship standards.
SummaryUnder the general supervision of the E-Commerce Manager, the Sorting & Equipment Operator performs sorting, material handling, and equipment operation duties essential to maintaining continuous workflow within the E-Commerce operation. This position supports automated sorting processes, operates warehouse equipment, stages and relocates materials, and collaborates with team members to meet established productivity, quality, and safety standards. Work is performed in alignment with Goodwill's policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
EssentialFunctions
, including the Autoline, equipment stations, and warehouse zones. Perform housekeeping duties and safely operate the compactor/auger as needed.
, and communicate suggestions for improvements to management to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and overall performance.

, reporting unsafe conditions, equipment issues, unprofessional behavior, theft, or injuries to management immediately.

- Must successfully complete a state background investigation and drug screen.
