Integer is a global organization providing innovative, high‑quality technologies and manufacturing to medical device OEMs to enhance the lives of patients worldwide. Our two major business lines are a medical device outsourcer (Cardiac & Vascular, Cardiac Rhythm Management & Neuromodulation, and Power Solutions) and a provider of high‑end, niche batteries (Electrochem) for specialized applications in the energy, military, and environmental markets.

What

you will do in this role
  • Provide support to the manufacturing team to achieve production goals and customer quality requirements, including monitoring and escalating issues to the production supervisor.
  • Act as a liaison between team members and the production supervisor to align resources and support associates, helping the team meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and people performance goals.
  • Perform audits (5S, Safety, Quality, and Standardized Work) to ensure associates adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Support the team by walking the floor, addressing questions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to the supervisor or appropriate support team member.
  • Perform predefined non‑cyclic work to support operators’ capability (paperwork, model‑change preparation, quality checks, material movement within the area).
  • Participate in workshops focused on continuous improvement of current processes and new product development programs.
  • Lead morning huddles and communicate with associates.
  • Actively listen and seek opportunities to engage team members in structured problem‑solving to identify countermeasures, resolve issues, and make improvements.
  • Have working knowledge of jobs and equipment to step in for emergencies and implement countermeasures.
  • Coordinate cross‑training plans for associates.
  • Promote an environment of diversity, inclusion, open communication and trust.
  • Coordinate shift‑change discussions; identify resource needs and alignment; collect data for production boards.
  • Participate in daily production board meetings, explain area performance results, and identify causes of misses.
  • Create shift summaries/logs for the next shift to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Work in conjunction with the supervisor and production planning to follow production schedules and assign staff to jobs based on training and experience.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What sets you apart
  • Minimum Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). Associate degree in a technical or business‑related field preferred.
  • Minimum Experience:

    Proven capability in performing all the jobs in the area being supported.

    Ability to motivate others, possess the spirit of teamwork and cooperation, desire to lead, passion for excellence, action orientation, good written and oral communication skills, experience and comfort using computers.

Base wages; a cash‑based incentive program supporting our pay‑for‑performance philosophy; overtime pay; shift differentials; call‑in pay when applicable.
