STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing and maintaining assigned section of the Production Floor during the day shift as related to customer product line and internal manufacturing processes to include organizing work assignments, checking procedures and equipment to ensure conformance to standardized work, engineering instructions and compliance with established maintenance, IATF
16949 and APPS standards, meeting production schedules, optimizing plant resources.

The following are the major duties and responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

* Responsible to manage personnel and projects within his/her department.

* Knowledge of all functions from raw materials to finished goods, to include equipment and machinery. Responsible for proper use and care of equipment, requesting repair or replacement when necessary.

* Ensures that employees are properly trained for their work assignments and assists them in solving unusual problems encountered in their work.
