Maintenance Tech I – Monday through Friday, Night Shift

Location: Salem, VA

Schedule: 6:30 PM - 3:00 AM, Monday - Friday

Pay: Base rate: $24-37/hr + 20% night premium

Marvin Composites is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Salem, VA location. Marvin Composites is looking for individuals with a desire to contribute to an innovation‑driven organization.

In this role, you'll help keep our facility and manufacturing equipment running efficiently. You'll take on a variety of tasks including troubleshooting, repairing, ordering parts, and play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality.

• Provide timely support, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, identify root causes, and ensure thorough follow‑up on equipment issues
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Plan work effectively, coordinating with production and leadership to ensure success
• Order parts as needed to keep our equipment running smoothly
• Monitor and maintain facility equipment to minimize downtime and scrap
• Continuously improve equipment, processes, methods, etc., to drive innovation

• A two‑year technical degree or a comparable level of knowledge and skills acquired through relevant work experience
• Ability to perform accurate and thorough work with attention to detail
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, and industrial automation
