Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA to join their team. As a Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting the logistics and inventory management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** 8 hours per shift

** What's the Job?*
* + Receive materials and verify shipments against purchase orders

+ Locate and organize materials in designated storage areas

+ Assist in assorting materials for production needs

+ Support inventory control through cycle counts and record keeping

+ Prepare finished products for shipment and coordinate transportation

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma or equivalent

+ Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred

+ Ability to operate forklift and handle materials safely (forklift handling preferred)

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

+ Proficiency in English and good communication skills
