The STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market in the USA. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA. We are seeking experienced Production Operators (day shift)for the manufacturing processes of the brand new STS start up in
Salem, Virginia - Roanoke, VA area. Forklift experience is a plus.
- Perform mold changes safely and efficiently
- Operate overhead crane and mold transfer cart
- Clean and maintain molds, including wiping tools and cleaning bolsters
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Perform general operator duties as needed during downtime
- Strong attendance record is required
- High level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to support team needs
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks thoroughly
