The ideal candidate has strong experience with multi-axis CNC machining and understands the complete machining process from blueprint to finished part.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot multi-axis CNC equipment .

  • Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to improve quality, cycle time, and machining efficiency.

  • Perform complex machine setups, changeovers, offsets, and tooling adjustments.

  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.

  • Machine precision components while maintaining required dimensions and tolerances.

  • Use precision measuring equipment to inspect completed parts and verify conformance to specifications.

  • Diagnose machining issues including tooling, setup, dimensional, finish, and equipment-related problems.

  • Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machining .

  • Strong CNC programming and program-editing capabilities.

  • Ability to independently set up CNC equipment from blueprint through first-piece approval.

  • Strong knowledge of tooling, work holding, offsets, speeds, feeds, and machining principles.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T .

  • Proficiency with precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and similar inspection tools.

  • Strong understanding of machining tolerances and dimensional inspection.

  • Ability to troubleshoot machining, programming, tooling, and setup issues independently.

  • Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or other advanced machining equipment.

  • Technical degree, machining certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands‑on experience preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

You are comfortable taking a new or existing part, reviewing the print, determining the appropriate setup and tooling, programming or modifying the machining process, producing the part, and verifying that the finished product meets specification.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with a stable manufacturer offering long-term growth for an experienced machining professional.
