• Coordinates Christian Formation for middle school and high school students.
• Works as a member of the parish Sacramental Preparation Team for Confirmation.
• Plans and coordinates youth activities throughout the year.
• Coordinates parish participation in diocesan youth programs, such as retreats, conferences, and mission trips.
• Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers in compliance with Diocesan Safe Environment Policies.
• Plans and oversees budget, calendar, and orders for youth ministry activities.
• Communicates regularly with the pastor, staff, parents, youth, and volunteers.
• Attends Christian Faith Formation Team meetings and parish staff meetings.
• Secures the building after youth activities.

A 20-hour work week with time divided between regular office hours and youth ministry evening/weekend activities. The weekly schedule will be worked out with the Pastor. Attendance at certain Diocesan Youth Programs is expected and will be worked out with the pastor.

• Qualifications:
  • Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
  • Should have a bachelor’s degree, and some experience in ministry or evangelization.
  • Ability to work well with youth and adults.
  • Ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate programs.
  • Must be a self-starter with good communication and social media skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
