Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Salem, VA

This is a 13-week contract position.

07:00 - 17:30

The Endoscopy Unit is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team. Our unit comprises four Endoscopy Procedure Rooms and handles approximately 20-30 patients daily. As an RN in this department, you will be responsible for patient admission, circulating and scrubbing in procedural cases, and overseeing recovery and discharge processes. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including scrub techs and scope room techs.

• Admit patients and ensure accurate documentation and procedural preparation.
• Circulate and scrub in endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.
• Monitor and support patients during recovery and discharge processes.
• Work collaboratively with a team-oriented staff to provide high-quality patient care.

• Must have 2 years of RN experience.
• PACU or ICU experience preferred, but not required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
