TITLE
Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

SCHEDULE
Full-time, Mixed, Nights shift (Rotating Weekends)

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed

Hours:

36 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- RN (Registered Nurse) License
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree required
- Willingness to cross-train; acute care experience preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and ensure documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate actions in case of unintended responses.
- Provide exceptional patient care by responding promptly to requests and proactively anticipating patient needs.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
