Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, utilizing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments and develop individual care plans for patients.
- Manage patient care and ensure high standards of practice.
- Assist with emergency procedures including RSI, Sepsis interventions, and stroke protocol.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document nursing assessments and patient progress in the EMR system (Meditech).
- Participate in patient transfers as required, adhering to EMTALA guidelines.
- Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, NRP, NHI certifications.
