Registered Nurse – NICU

$1958.40/week –

Job Summary:

Provide specialized neonatal nursing care in a Level III NICU setting, supporting critically ill newborns with advanced assessments and interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive neonatal care, including ventilator support, UVC placement, and surfactant administration.
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and umbilical line placement.
• Monitor vital signs and assess infants for signs of declining health, intervening as necessary.
• Educate and support families with breastfeeding, emotional support, and discharge planning.
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems.
• Adhere to NICU policies, including safety protocols and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN licensure with BLS and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate minimum of 2 years’ neonatal/PICU experience, particularly with preterm and critically ill infants.
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Show proficiency in neonatal procedures such as IV insertion, intubation, and stabilization.
• Capable of multitasking and managing complex clinical situations confidently.
