• 1 Demonstrates clinical competence to practice within Central Sterile’s Scope of Care.
• 2 Manages day to day operations of assigned unit ensuring decisions, actions and group performance contributes to achievement of the unit, department, and hospital’s goals and mission.
• 3 Communicates effectively with staff, peers, Surgical Director, external and internal customer.
• 4 Utilizes quality improvement as basis to improve unit/departmental process.
• 5 Pursues own professional growth and development.
• 6 Maintains unit readiness for regulatory surveys.
• 7 Assumes accountability for decisions and actions.
• 8 Provides opportunities for employee development.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures, supports the mission of the hospital.

• 4+ years Management experience in hospital setting with knowledge of instrumentation and sterile process.
• Basic computer word processing skills.
• 5 years CSS Management and Operating Room Supply Experience preferred.

Required - CSS Certification Course or Licensed RN or LPN

Preferred - Bachelors With CS And Pursuing Masters
