Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to post-operative and general medical surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and drain management in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain clear documentation of patient care activities in the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support post-operative patient recovery and early identification of complications.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical settings.
• Proficient in wound care, drain management, and post-operative patient care.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
