RN Emergency Room

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, from minor injuries to critically ill patients. Our unit operates like a family, supporting each other and valuing patient care above all else.

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing based on acuity levels
• Maintain composure and professionalism, especially under pressure
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate follow-up care and referrals
• Document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy
• Coordinate with physicians and other hospital departments, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction

• Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
• Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia or multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the Emergency Room;
  Med Surg candidates will be considered for cross-training ONLY FOR NIGHTS SHIFT

• Compensation:
  Salary ranges from $32.11 (0-9 yrs) to $45.87 (20+ yrs) based on years of experience
