Who will you be working with?
You’ll be part of our Quality team, a group dedicated to ensuring product integrity, supporting customer needs, and collaborating closely with technical experts across the organization. In this role, you will work directly with assembly teams, engineering, and Supplier Quality to investigate product issues and provide clear, meaningful defect information back to customers. Your work will help ensure our products meet the highest standards and reinforce customer confidence in our solutions.
Howwill you make a difference?
As a member of the Quality department, you will be responsible for evaluating and documenting customer‑returned products to determine defect type, root cause, and responsibility. You will collaborate with departments such as Assembly, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to gather insights and complete thorough investigations. Additionally, you will repair returned products when needed and prepare defective information suitable for customer communication. Your work directly supports product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
Whatdo we want to know about you?
- Do you have an associate’s degree?
- Do you have five years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or another technical role?
- Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills?
- Are you proficient in Microsoft Office software?
- Can you evaluate and repair a wide variety of products?
- Can you understand relevant assembly and test processes?
- Evaluate and document customer returned material with, and in some cases without, the assistance of the originating department.
- Determine nature of and responsibility for defects. Draw on resources for this activity including assembly departments, Engineering and supplier quality.
- Document defect information such that the information can be shared with the customer.
- Repair products with, and in some cases without, the assistance of the originating department.
- Perform other QA departmental activities as needed.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching outwards, bending, and lifting 10-50 lbs
- Occasional reaching up and over the shoulder, squatting or kneeling, lifting over 50 lbs, exposure to heat/humidity, exposure to cold, exposure to dust or vapors within OSHA limits, and loud noises
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $27.00-$29.00 per hour.
