Responsibilities
In this role you’ll help deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean, stocked store.
- Provide resources and tools to staff to support customers.
- Assist with down‑stocking, area recovery and merchandising input.
- Monitor use of store power equipment and coach on safe behaviors and lifting techniques.
- Coach, train and hold associates accountable for daily tasks and performance.
- Manage staffing coverage and lead as manager‑on‑duty when needed.
- Conduct safety walks, report hazards and enforce safety and lifting instructions.
Travel may be required for occasional meetings or support of neighboring stores.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of retail experience (or 5 years).
- 1 year of customer‑service experience.
- 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
- Experience directing or supervising teams.
- Experience with training, mentoring and developing associates.
- Experience working cross‑functionally.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to obtain required sales licensure or registration.
- 3 years of retail customer‑service experience.
- 3 years supporting Pro customers.
- Experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
- Background in home‑improvement retail.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in a key‑carrying role with manager‑on‑duty duties.
- Experience using store computer systems such as Project Tool, Genesis, Sterling, M2O, Thin Client, etc.
Pay: $20.70 – $21.55 per hour (starting rate may vary by location, experience, training).

Shift: schedule is 39‑40 hours; more hours may be required. Availability needed morning, afternoon and evening, any day of the week.
Physical requirement: prolonged standing or sitting, lift 25 pounds without assistance, lift >25 pounds with or without assistance.
Travel: no regular travel; occasional travel may be required.
