Job Opening:
Senior Sales & Marketing Manager Gypsum & Mineral Commodities Location
Salem, Tamil Nadu, India (Flexible to travel for client meetings and business development activities)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead the sales, marketing, and business development of Gypsum, limestone and related mineral products across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will drive market expansion, build strategic partnerships, and ensure sustainable revenue growth while maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Marketing- Drive sales and marketing of Gypsum related products & Limestone related products (Imported)
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across India and Asian markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and distributors.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- Develop pricing strategies for domestic and export markets.
- Negotiate commercial terms, offtake agreements, and long-term supply contracts.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business development plans.
- Expand dealer and distributor networks across key markets.
- Create and nurture a strong buyer network in India and overseas.
- Lead client acquisition initiatives and market expansion strategies.
- Travel regularly for customer meetings, negotiations, and industry engagement.
- Coordinate closely with production and dispatch teams for timely order fulfillment.
- Plan bulk shipments and work with logistics service providers.
- Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, ports, and transport partners.
- Oversee inland transportation and warehouse coordination.
- Identify and develop strategic vendor and procurement networks.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, dealers, and distributors.
- Manage import/export documentation, HS codes, duties, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- B.Tech in Mineral Processing
- MBA in Marketing with Mineral commodities background (preferred)
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in mineral procurement, beneficiation, trading, sales, or processing.
Experience in one or more of the following sector
- Mineral trading
- Mineral processing
- Proven experience in domestic and international mineral markets.
- Exposure to import/export business and global trade practices is an advantage.
- English
- Tamil
- Hindi (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop markets and grow sales.
- Experience handling logistics, supply chain coordination, and commercial documentation.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.
