Who will you be working with?
You will work with a broad range of talented individuals to deliver quality products in a timely manner. You’ll work alongside the maintenance team and partner with professionals across multiple departments.
How will you make a difference?As a member of the Maintenance team, you will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on various types of equipment throughout the facility. You will work to optimize the performance of the equipment and communicate issues, as necessary.
Qualifications- Do you have a minimum of 3 years industrial electrical experience? Journeyman license is preferred but not required.
- Do you have knowledge, skills and abilities to perform installations, repairs and identify items in this category? Ability to run conduit, wire electric motors (1Ø and 3Ø), troubleshoot and repair 1Ø and 3Ø distribution and equipment circuits, wire control panels, design and install 1Ø and 3Ø circuits, and properly size conductors.
- Can you use a personal computer to research pertinent issues and order materials? Also, able to use CMMS.
- Do you possess personal computer skills with ability to fully utilize CMMS?
- Do you have working knowledge of contractors, starters, transformers, electrical prints, disconnect switches, fuses, cable drops, limit switches, wiring terminals, buss duct, safety skills, MSDS skills, math skills?
- Do you have a general understanding of National Electrical Code? Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to apply GW Hazardous Energy Policy consistently.
- Must have appropriate tools to perform repairs and installations.
- Analyze and correct electrical problems.
- Repair/overhaul electrical equipment and controls.
- Install new service drops and circuit breaker panels.
- Wire machinery circuits.
- Work all done according to wiring diagrams, specifications and NEC.
- Have knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Other duties as required by management.
- Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching outward, reaching up/over shoulder, squatting/kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50lbs. Frequent exposure to dust or vapors within OSHA limits, heat/humidity, and loud noises.
- Occasional sitting, climbing, and lifting 50lbs or more. Occasional exposure to cold.
The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $28-30/hr.
The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
