TEL Staffing is hiring entry-level helicopter pilots for an employee-owned company based out of Salem, VA.
Aircraft and OperationsOur aircraft include Bell 205, 206B/L, 407 and Hiller UH-12ET (Soloy). This company performs both spray and utility operations and conducts a variety of operations ranging from forestry spraying to firefighting and charters.
Position OverviewWe are looking for pilots who are willing to work in Salem, VA full time year-round. Candidates will begin in ground positions such as CDL truck driver or loader and progress to a flying position.
Required Skills and Experience- Agricultural background and CDL truck driver (preferred) or willingness to obtain a CDL before the start date.
- Mountain flight experience of 5,000+ hours.
- Experience operating from off‑airport/unimproved landing sites (e.g., Ag, HEMS, fire).
- Powerline inspections and construction experience.
- Longline experience.
- Experience in aerial application.
