The CDL Driver operates CMV between plants and customers delivering products, material, and parts for Ennis‑Flint. This position may load and unload trucks while ensuring all safety procedures are being followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Pre‑Trip/Post Trip tractor‑trailers to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure.
- Properly tarps all loads as needed.
- Safely drive tractor‑trailers between plants and other destinations.
- Maintain logs of working hours or tractor‑trailer service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crews and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Maintains copies of BOLs and PODs and provides to appropriate Ennis‑Flint personnel.
- Inspect received materials and items to ensure they are free from damage.
- Ensure orders being shipped are correct and undamaged.
- Completes daily forklift inspections as required (Moffet Drivers only).
- Cross‑train in plant production areas as is needed.
- Follow all safety procedures.

Education and Experience- High School Diploma or GED
- Class A CDL
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
- Flatbed experience
- Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Android or iPhones
- ELD and Dispatch Management Software
