We are a leading regional accounting services firm and we are looking to expand our Client Accounting Services team with an Accounting Specialist for a growth position in our Salina, Kansas office.

Primary duties are:

• Prepare and process weekly or biweekly payrolls;
• Prepare required multi state tax filings and record activity in the general ledger;
• Reconcile bank to financial records;
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Some general duties include:

• Perform monthly financial closing process
• Ensure revenue/expenses are properly recorded
• Prepare operating budgets and forecasts
• Prepare reporting for accounts receivables and aging of accounts
• Review and process accounts payable transactions
• Ability to generate invoices and record receipts
• Prepare and manage sales & use tax returns for multiple states
