Tax and Advisory Assoc Federal and State Tax

An established accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax and Advisory Associate to support federal and state tax compliance and consulting work for a diverse client base. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals on tax strategy while helping clients navigate complex regulatory requirements.

• Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Conduct in-depth research on tax issues and regulations to support consulting and advisory services
• Collaborate with senior team members to identify and implement tax-savings strategies for clients
• Participate in client meetings and communicate findings and recommendations effectively
• Support the training and development of junior staff through mentorship and guidance

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Active CPA license
• At least 2 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory services
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in tax software and MS Office
