Triplett, Inc. dba 24/7 Travel Stores operates multiple retail locations across Kansas. The Facilities & Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing facility maintenance, construction, remodeling, capital improvement projects, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance across all company locations. This position partners closely with company leadership to support long‑term facility planning while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This is a hands‑on leadership position that requires a combination of office and field responsibilities. The Facilities & Construction Manager is expected to spend time both in the office managing budgets, project plans, vendor relationships, contracts, and reporting, as well as on‑site overseeing construction projects, facility inspections, contractor performance, and maintenance activities. Regular travel to company locations throughout Kansas is required.
RequiredExperience
- Experience overseeing facility maintenance, construction, and remodeling projects.
- Ability to develop project budgets, timelines, and contracts while ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Experience managing contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company standards.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ADA requirements, and applicable building codes.
- Experience conducting facility inspections and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Ability to partner with company leadership on long‑term facility planning and capital improvement projects.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in facilities management, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, vendor management, and project management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Salina, Kansas area. Regular travel to company locations is required.
