The Insurance Customer Care Representative is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Salina, KS. This role focuses on assisting policyholders with inquiries about coverage, billing, claims status, and policy changes, ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience. Daily responsibilities include answering inbound calls, responding to emails, documenting interactions in internal systems, and providing clear explanations of products and services. The representative will help resolve issues, elevate complex concerns when necessary, and support customer retention by delivering courteous, accurate, and timely service aligned with American Family Insurance’s standards.
Qualifications- Strong customer‑facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support capabilities.
- Ability to foster positive experiences and outcomes, with a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with diverse customers.
- Well‑developed Interpersonal Skills to build rapport, show empathy, and manage challenging conversations.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism in all customer and team interactions.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn insurance systems and processes quickly.
- Experience in insurance, call centers, or customer‑facing roles is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
